During 2021 Websummit in Lisbon, from 1 to 4 November, weAR participated in the final of the Siemens Future Tech Hack, organized by Siemens.
The hackaton final, which involved developing software to make the cities of the future smarter and more sustainable, saw a competition between five international teams.
Our proposal concerned the incorporation of a web-based, augmented reality digital twin, in the famous Mendix software from Siemens. Digital twins used through XR can greatly help the management of complex assets, such as smart grids in smart cities.
